Great customer service helping me with a t-shirt exchange. Also--I took a backpacking for women class and had a great experience! The teacher was an employee with lots of backpacking knowledge and was so kind and eager to help me get on the trail. Excited to head back and get fitted for my first pack!
Had a nice experience in store yesterday. One of the employees Pokey was stoking me out on some new xc ski gear. Friendly staff throughout the store. Cheers to you all
Happy Holidays
It’s a really nice store and would give it a nicer rating but the associates on the floor are way too aggressive at trying to help. I can’t take 5 steps with out being asked if I need help or know about the restock area or am a rewards member. You do realize that can actually drive your customers (and profit) away right?
Bought a pair of used boots at the counter. The boots were marked with crosses but were new. It turned out to be a manufacturing defect that the store didn't mention. The tag said there was a lack of glue on the boots, but in reality, a part of the sole was missing, and they shouldn't have been selling them like that. They refused to accept a return. Now I have a pair of boots that can't be repaired, and the store has a bad review. Terrible service and deception of club members!
This review is based off of the many returns and wrong charges I got at this REI. The staff was wonderful and kind but I had to do multiple returns since I was charged twice and attempted to use my dividend. It took three returns to get my purchase correct and honestly by the third time I really just wanted to get out of the store and be on my way.
Tawnya was amazing and very helpful in fitting a hiking pack to my son. She was full of great information and took the time to answer all our questions! Give this gal a raise, she deserves it! 👏 …
Helpful friendly staff, the sales are great, and I love getting the dividend back. Other than the parking (not their fault) I love this REI.
Came here from PCT to re-supply on some pieces of gear that I needed, took a bus from Ashland, all the way looking forward to it. This store is the worst REI customer service I've ever experienced. Asked at least three different workers questions only to see them rushing away somewhere else. One took his time to re-route me to a different worker who also would not know anything I was asking about, which was REIs own tent that I got a few months ago and wanted pieces that I was missing . She kept on talking on her earpiece with her co-workers directing them to check on another customer. This store truly sucks. If the one in Bend isn't better considering canceling this "co-op" membership
